Today’s Purpose Man caught up with Dr. Eric Holmes to talk about his new bestseller book Soulful Prayers and his passion.

What inspired you to be a part of the Soulful Prayers Anthology?

The Holy Spirit inspired me, and as I connected with Mrs. Cheryl, there was a connection. God led me, and I believe in the Power of Prayer.

How do you feel your soul-stirring prayer/chapter, “Personal Finances”will inspire and empower readers?

I feel my chapter “Personal Finances “will inspire others to understand how to overcome financial problems and how to handle the difficulties of them. Also, to see things from another perspective and do things differently. In dealing with finances, I went through a season of operating in faith with no finances as a result of being without employment for four months. Though it seemed very hard and rough, it was a real blessing in teaching me to endure the process and built my faith. I watched God favor me to be able to help others in the area of personal finances. To allow others to know how to handle it differently and it’s not always because it was mismanagement.

What is the one thing you want others to know about the prayer you included in Soulful Prayers?

I want others to know this prayer was birthed out of my wilderness experience, in which God sustained me and brought me to a place of promise on the other side.

What are you currently most passionate about and why?

I am passionate about my purpose and pursuing what God has birthed in me. I am passionate about my brand. I am my brand, and I represent my brand as an author of two books. One I wrote and the other a co-author. I also have two clothing lines- The Power of the Seed which is in conjunction with my first book and Favor Will Change The Rules, which I have seen God move in that area of my life.

Do you have any advice or words of encouragement you would like to leave with Today’s Purpose Man readers?

I want to share these key advice: Always have prayer as the key and center of your life and God a priority. Continue to grow and develop and never quit too soon. Always pursue your vision and dreams.
