Thank you! I think as long as you’re using it in moderate amounts, it should be fine. Hope you’ll love all the recipes that you will try!

Great recipes in your collection. I ran out of Italian seasoning and ended up buying a large container at Costco. McCormick I believe. It contains salt. Should I worry about that for the next 5 years as I try to use it up? Cheers from Oshawa Ontario Canada.

Hi Diana! Yes, I believe both of those could have impacted the outcome. Other things to consider, if the chunks are too large or if the air fryer is overcrowded not allowing enough room for air to flow in between the potatoes.

First time Air fryer user and roasties first cook . I set the temp on 400 and used melted duck fat as I would use in the oven. Cooked beautifully after about 24 minutes but they were fairly large chunks. Not crispy though. Would that have anything to do with type of oil or the fact that I parboiled them 5 minutes?

I love the potatoes. I made a large batch so I froze about half. I reheated and crisp them in the air fryer, so good!

Hi Julia! I’m not familiar with those so I can’t say without testing them myself. Let us know if you experiment.

However, my air fryer has a rotating mesh basket and I was wondering if these would cook better in that or on the trays.
